Perched on the hillside of exclusive Bedarra Island, you will awaken to epic sunrises, watch whales migrate from the comfort of your deck hammock, shower in an outdoor lush tropic bathroom built into the granite, and bathe in crystal clear waters of your own private and exclusive beaches.

The Pavilions of Bedarra is an eco heaven powered by the sun and fed by a natural spring. You will be enveloped in the warmth of the island and all it has to offer. Grab your snorkels and go snorkeling straight off the two private beaches. Swim with the turtles and our resident dugongs and be awe-inspired by our flourishing and healthy coral and sea life.
Bedarra Island is a lost paradise that is unique. From its rugged granite hills to the softest whitest sand, to its lush rainforest and tropical plants, from the moment your private charter lands on the heavenly beach, you will never want to leave.

The Pavilions of Bedarra is a 100% off-grid eco luxury stay, powered by the sun, and fed by a natural spring. Everything is provided for by the Island, which we thank her for.
The house is split over 2 Pavilions and 4 levels and contains all the amenities you would expect for a luxury eco stay, with a holistic view to minimizing the impact on our environment and taking no more than we need.
It is truly an unforgettable paradise, and it is impossible not to fall in love.
Although we encourage our guests to ‘switch off’ during the stay, we also have lighting-fast SkyLink, a full office setup including docking station HP monitors, and a keyboard and mouse.
The Property
Outdoor Deck
The Outdoor deck is attached to the main pavilion and includes a 6-seater outdoor table, family-sized Webber BBQ (with all relevant tools), and outdoor shower.
It also has a hand-built woodfired pizza oven – fantastic for those winter nights, when you can cook up a storm of pizza and garlic bread and share it with those you love.
Set in the rainforest the outdoor deck is a favourite for late afternoon drinks in the shade whilst listening to the bamboo moving in the breeze.
The Main Pavilion
The main pavilion is your living and kitchen area and is split over 2 levels.
This contains a chef’s kitchen with the amenities you would expect including a 5 burner gas stove cooktop, 90cm oven, double door fridge, and pure filtered water through our state-of-the-art UV filtration system.
There is also a lounge area and dining table that seats 8 on the lower level.
On the upper level, there is a fully functioning office space set for 2 people including HP Monitors, a docking station (USBC), and keyboards to allow you to work during your stay.
You will also find on this level your unique outdoor shower-built hand-lovingly out of local granite, coral, and shells by the previous custodians, a toilet, and laundry.
Perched high on the hill is The Bedroom Pavilion, which is split into two levels, the views from this level are 180 degrees and look out to the Coral Sea and Dunk Island.
The bottom level contains a luxurious King-sized bed (which can be split) as well as an outdoor immersive bathroom with rain showerhead, built directly into the granite. It also opens through bi-fold doors onto a huge outdoor deck.
The upper level is internally linked by a spiral staircase and contains 2 King Singles and 1 Single bed.
This room can sleep both adults and children, with 2 king singles (cannot be combined) and a trundle single bed.
We can also at request additionally provide 2 blow-up King Single Mattresses which can be placed on the bottom level ( or in the living room pavilion) if required.
Amenities
Cooling:
Each level has large fans installed to keep you cool. There is no air conditioning on the island, but the Pavilions are designed for natural airflow and will keep you comfortable during the day and cool at night.
Wifi:
The Pavilions of Bedarra has Star link meaning you can stream and work from the Pavilions without dropout or interruption.
Each level of the property also has google home and Wi-Fi Mesh, so you are able to play music and access the Wi-Fi no matter where you are within the property.
We do encourage all holidaymakers to turn off their devices and just relax – but it if you need it, it’s here!
