Your Private Island Awaits
Getting to Bedarra Island is easy! There are 3 steps to follow:
1.Simply fly into Cairns Airport
2. Take a scenic two hour trip via car, private transfer or Greyhound bus to Mission Beach and
3.Then a boat transfer from Clump Point Marina to the white sands of Bedarra Island.
As access to the island is tide dependant, we do recommend that all guests to a pre-night stay at Mission Beach and head over first thing the day of your arrival. We allow check-in from 9am!
Getting to Bedarra Island
Prior to booking give us a call to discuss access to Bedarra Island, as it is tide dependent we will assist you to coordinate your arrival for maximum time on the island.
We recommend the following:
- Book your flights to Cairns, to arrive a minimum of 48 hours prior to your arrival on the island.
- Book a “pre-night” stay at either Cairns or Mission beach. We recommend Mission Beach, as it allows you to come across to the island first thing to enjoy a full day!
- Either personally arrange ( if you are wanting to road tip down the coast) or allow us to assist you booking your private transfer with our trusted partners Paradise Limousines from Cairns Airport
- Arrive at Clump Point Marina
- One of our trusted partners will then undertake your Island Transfer
- Hop off the boat onto the white sand and you have arrived in paradise!
Transfers
Access to the island is via boat transfer. There are several operators that service the Island and starts from $500 return, this also includes collecting your food and alcohol provisioning from Woolworths and BWS prior to your arrival.
As part of their service they will collect and return you to and from the island at the start and end of your trip.
