The Pavilions of Bedarra is a once-in-a-lifetime eco-luxury retreat for families and couples. Perched on the hillside of exclusive Bedarra Island, you will awaken to epic sunrises, watch whales migrate from the comfort of your deck hammock, shower in an outdoor lush tropic bathroom built into the granite, and bathe in crystal clear waters of your own private and exclusive beaches.

The Pavilions of Bedarra is an eco heaven powered by the sun and fed by a natural spring. You will be enveloped in the warmth of the island and all it has to offer. Grab your snorkels and go snorkeling straight off the two private beaches. Swim with the turtles and our resident dugongs and be awe-inspired by our flourishing and healthy coral and sea life.
Bedarra Island is a lost paradise that is unique. From its rugged granite hills to the softest whitest sand, to its lush rainforest and tropical plants, from the moment your private charter lands on the heavenly beach, you will never want to leave.

The Property
The Pavilions
The Pavilions of Bedarra is perched on the granite rockface of Bedarra Island with views to both the coral coast and Dunk Island.
It is set over three main Pavilions. The Family Living Pavilion, The Master Suite with Eagles Nest and the Owner’s Pavilion.
The property can accommodate 12 people, 10 in a mix of king single and king beds and the residual two as king single blow up mattresses in the living pavilion.
The Pavilions Entry
Your greeted by large ornate timber doors as you enter The Pavilions.
Wash your feet in our handmade footbath, take a warm shower under the solar powered shower or simply stop to admire the tropical gardens as you walk to the Living Pavilion
Living Pavilion – Outdoor Deck
The Outdoor deck is attached to the main pavilion and includes a 6-seater outdoor table, family-sized Webber BBQ (with all relevant tools), and outdoor shower.
It also has a hand-built woodfired pizza oven – fantastic for those winter nights, when you can cook up a storm of pizza and garlic bread and share it with those you love.
Set in the rainforest the outdoor deck is a favourite for late afternoon drinks in the shade whilst listening to the bamboo moving in the breeze.
Living Pavilion – Family Room
Inside of the Living Pavilion you will find luxury and comfort.
With a full chef’s kitchen – with a gas burner and 90cm oven, 640L liter French door fridge freeze with ice and water, fully UV treated and filtered natural spring water at a touch of a button, dishwasher and huge array of cooking utensils – everything is covered!
Or sit back under our huge fans and simply enjoy the breeze with a cocktail in, or turn on our huge wall mounted TV and steam to your delight with thanks to our Starlink connection!
Living Pavilion – Laundry and Outdoor Bathroom
The Living Pavilion also boasts its own hand made outdoor bathroom set into coral, stone and tropical plants.
Shower in luxury and feel the solar powered warmth of our warm water wash away the stress!
You also have access to a full laundry with provisions required to wash and dry your clothing.
Living Pavilion – Office
For those on a working holiday, the Living Pavilion has a fully set up office and functional office space with dual HP monitors, keyboard and docking station and access to lightning fast star link.
The Watersports
On the deck of the Living Pavilion you will also find our watersports storage.
We provide snorkels, masks, sand toys, body boards, life jackets, rock shoes, sun/beach chairs, umbrellas and pool noodles as well as full size kayaks for water fun!
We even have a sunscreen station inside the property to make sure you SLIP, SLOP and SLAP before going to our famous private beaches.
Private Beaches
Bedarra Island is a private island and only owners or their guests are welcome to use the two private beaches. Both with incredible snorkling a short swim from the beach.
As guests of the Pavilions of Bedarra you have unfettered access to these private beaches only shared by a handful of guests on the island at anyone time.
Rub shoulders with the island property owners, hang out with the Island caretakers or just sit in complete silence – its your choice and your beach. Read more about our famous private beaches here
The Accommodation and Privacy
The Pavilions of Bedarra has the luxury of being completely private encase din tropical gardens, but only an easy 1 minute walk to both beaches and with incredible views of dunk island and the coral sea.
The accommodation is luxurious, with first class mattresses, bedding and toiletries.
The property is split over two more Pavilions, the Master Suite with adjoining “Eagles Nest” and the Owner’s Pavilion sleeping up to 12 people.
The property is quiet and cozy enough for a couples retreat or big enough for extended family holidays.
