The whole house is yours, sleeping up to nine guests, so it suits families, couples and groups of friends who want a private island escape without the resort crowds.
Perched on the hillside above your own private beaches, the house looks out across the Coral Sea. Wake to spectacular sunrises, watch whales migrate from your deck hammock, shower in a lush outdoor tropical bathroom and swim in crystal clear water just steps from the door.
There are no other guests and nothing to share. The Pavilions of Bedarra is an eco-luxury retreat, powered by the sun and fed by a natural spring, and the moment you step onto the white sand, island time takes over.

The Pavilions of Bedarra is a 100% off-grid eco-luxury holiday home, powered by the sun and fed by a natural spring on exclusive Bedarra Island. The house is spread across two pavilions and four levels, sleeps up to nine guests and is always booked as one exclusive stay, with space to gather together and space to get away.

At the heart of the Pavilions is the Living Pavilion, where everyone comes together. A chef’s kitchen opens onto a large dining and lounge area, made for long family dinners and relaxed evenings with friends.
Set high on the hilltop with unparalleled views of Dunk Island and the Coral Sea, the Master Suite opens onto its own huge deck. A private hideaway for couples.
Perched in the tree canopy and reached by a spiral staircase from the Master Suite, the Eagles Nest is the most intimate and breathtaking room in the house.

The Pavilions of Bedarra is a sustainable eco-luxury home with everything you need for a relaxed stay with family or friends, plus some extra special touches.
Shower under the open sky in one of three outdoor showers, surrounded by lush rainforest and stocked with Australian eco brand Sukin.
Gather for dinner on the expansive outdoor deck. Fire up the outdoor pizza oven for heavenly pizzas and breads, or grab the tongs at the Weber BBQ.
The house comes with all the toys. Grab the three-person kayak or the snorkels and head down to your own private beach.
A day on Bedarra, sunrise to stars
Bedarra Island is a nature lovers’ paradise, for kids and grown-ups alike. Switch off your devices and fill your days with snorkelling, kayaking, rainforest walks and beachcombing, or simply sit back and do nothing at all. The choice is yours!

Leave straight from the beach, or join our partners Great Barrier Reef Safaris for half and full day tours of the Family Islands.

Paddle around the island at sunset, greet the friendly turtles and maybe even glimpse our resident dugong.
7pm · Under the stars
Fish from the sea, coconuts from the trees and pizzas from the outdoor oven.
