Is it a good place for a honeymoon or anniversary?

Absolutely. The Master Suite has sweeping views of Dunk Island and the Coral Sea, a double hammock on the deck and a private outdoor bathroom built into the granite boulders. It’s quiet and cosy enough for a couples retreat.

When is the best time for a romantic getaway on Bedarra Island?

September to November brings the clearest water and temperatures of 20–30°C. June to August is peak season, with whale watching. December to March is the warmest, wettest time of year.

How do we get to Bedarra Island?

Fly into Cairns, enjoy a scenic two-hour drive to Mission Beach, then take a short boat transfer from Clump Point Marina. Transfers are tide dependent, so call us before you book and our concierge will help arrange them. See Getting to Bedarra Island.

Do we need to bring our own food?

The Pavilions are self-catering, with a full chef’s kitchen and Weber BBQ. Your transfer can collect groceries and drinks from Woolworths and BWS before you arrive, so you don’t have to carry everything across.
