Bedarra Island · Great Barrier Reef · Exclusive whole-house stays for up to 9
Bedarra Island, QLD
Girls’ trips · Birthdays · Friends’ getaways
Book the whole island home for up to 9 friends on Bedarra Island in the Great Barrier Reef. Reef swims, long lunches and sunset drinks, with no one else around.
Why a private island
Skip the crowded pool deck and plan the girls trip Queensland friends talk about for years. At The Pavilions of Bedarra your group has exclusive use of the property, with no other guests and no shared spaces, so you set the pace, from morning swims to late-night catch-ups.
01
Spread out across the Master Suite & Eagles Nest (up to 5) and the Owner’s Pavilion (up to 4), so everyone has room to unwind.
02
A chef’s kitchen, Weber BBQ and an outdoor deck with sea views, plus a fire pit for evenings under the stars.
03
Snorkel off the beach, take the kayaks out, explore the rainforest trails, or claim a daybed and do absolutely nothing.
Up to 9 guests
Minimum 3-night stay. See nightly rates.
Celebrations
Turning 40, 50 or 60? Planning a hens weekend or a long-overdue reunion with old friends? A private island makes it feel truly special, with Dunk Island and the Coral Sea as your backdrop.
Your transfer can collect groceries and drinks from Woolworths and BWS on the way, so the fridge is stocked and the celebrations can start the moment you step off the boat.
Things to do together
Snorkel straight off the beach, paddle out in the kayaks, try your luck fishing, wander the rainforest trails and look out for turtles, dugongs and, from June to August, humpback whales. Snorkel, kayak and fishing gear is included.
Easy to organise
Rates start from $550 per night for two, plus $50 per extra person per night, so the more friends you bring, the better the value per person.
